Convenient solution, good for fittings
I used them to connect MIPT threads on the ends of hydraulic hoses to FIPT in the hard piping of the compressed air system in my workshop. Because one half of the fitting is a swivel joint, there is no need to connect copper tubing, allowing components to be swapped out later if necessary. They sealed easily and well in my 135 psi max compressed air system.
