Review on Bible Origami: Engaging Paper-Folding Activities for All Ages! Enjoyable Origami Book Suitable for Children and Adults by Carla Anderson

Too hard for kids, hard for adults!

So far my husband and I have taken on two figures. The first worked fine, but the little stand that's supposed to hold it up doesn't work - maybe we got it wrong. Then we tried to do Adam. We're totally stuck trying to get a "bird base". We don't have origami experience, but we have 12 years of college and we're not stupid. I don't think the average child would be able to get started without step-by-step guidance from their parents, and even then I think they'll lose interest before they've completed the character. However, we appreciate the click. I think the package is well thought out. There are enough instructions. But some of them are difficult to understand. I plan to have my smart mom review the instructions for Adam and see if she can help us get over the "bird base" hump. With experience, I expect things to go more smoothly.
