Review on Efficient Cooling and Heating in One: Emerson Quiet Kool EATE14RD2T 230V 14K BTU Through The Wall Heat & Cool Combo AC with Remote Control by Dana Jackson

Fits an old LG air conditioner shell. Quiet, but also delivers nice white noise. So far my only problem is that in the morning the sunlight comes straight through part of the air conditioner's inner grille, even though my husband has sealed the outer perimeter completely with black caulk. Thus, all that we spent on dimming the windows is partially wasted. I will call Emerson to see if they have heard of this and if there is a fix. UPDATE: March 2020: Starts shutting down whether in Fan or Cool mode. Make sure that the TIMER is not switched on. No weird noises, smells or malfunctions - it just stops and then restarts by itself.
