We live at an altitude of 8500 meters in the Rocky Mountains, so yes. Sun blindness is the order of the day here. My husband has sun sensitive blue eyes so he needs glasses that effectively block all the sun's rays. On the other hand, I like that he doesn't look like he's wearing glaucoma glasses. They do their job, we are both satisfied. They don't sit too tight on his head and do a good job of blocking the sun on the sides. Worth every penny.
