By reading this review, AND ESPECIALLY a review of the smaller but "dress blue" sweater, you will have everything you need to make the right decision to purchase one of these SPECIAL wool knit sweaters. I bought three of these on December 9th. I have three mini schnauzers so I measured them according to the instructions, chose the colors and placed the order. I ordered two 12" and one 10" for my little one. I received the order in three days even though I have Prime. I opened them all up and made sure they all fit all three dogs: first I checked the fit at the neck, then the position of the leg holes, pulled them onto my back and made sure it wasn't a dress. I also checked that the cutout at the bottom was big enough to prevent the dog from soiling the sweater every time it peed. I also didn't want it to look more like a blanket than a sweater like some of the photos online of this product. So bottom line for 'Smoke Grey' and 'Burgundy' in size 12: They looked, felt and (so far) feel very comfortable and well tailored. Unfortunately the "Dress Blue" 10" is not the same. I am sending the one back and writing a detailed review.
