I ordered a size up from what I usually buy because I like my cardigans to be a little looser and flowier. However with this cardigan that was a mistake. I'm usually a medium and I bought a large, and when I put on the large it looked like I was heading off to my job at the doctor's office; like I had rented a lab coat for a Halloween costume. It is a nice material and it would be great for summer because it's very light, but if you are a medium in most things, buy a medium here. I can't say how flattering they would be if I had ordered the right size, but if you order too large it looks terrible. I'm keeping the large because, as I said, it is very lightweight and if I tie the ends it makes a perfect gardening cardigan.
