Refurbished units arrived dirty with previous owner's passwords still set
I have ordered 2 of these units as certified refurbished. Both devices were dirty with the previous owner's configuration and password protected. For this reason, I generally avoid refurbished or used items. Apparently, "fixing" in this case means taking the returned device, throwing it in a box with new instructions, and selling it to another buyer. Whoever has "restored” these devices hasn’t even bothered to clean them or factory reset them.
