Beware of all these great reviews! I was excited about this refurbished USB makeup brush cleaner from Senbowe, mostly because it's refurbished and rechargeable. But he also had great reviews. Maybe mine was broken. I thought it takes a very long time to charge, almost 5 hours. But it gave me time to assemble the base holder, prep all my brushes and see if they fit in the sleeves. There was an immediate problem. My largest brushes didn't fit in any of the large holders. The sleeves were either too big or too small. I have 4 or 5 large, thick, fluffy mineral powder brushes everyday which is why I bought this item. In the end I decided to put one in the smaller sleeve. I was finally ready to go! I prepared the bowl according to the instructions, dipped the brush in it, turned it on...nothing. When I lifted the brush to remove it, it started spinning. Like an unbalanced washing machine. I put it in liquid and it slowed down and stopped A LOT. Then, with very little effort, he turned and stopped. There wasn't enough power to spin it quickly. So I switched it to the next speed which is the EXACT SAME SPEED. I ended up turning it off because it didn't do anything. I lifted the brush out of the liquid to shake off the excess and the brush fell out. From the looks of it, it had little power as well as an unbalanced wobble when twisting right out of the sleeve. By this point my counter was a huge mess, water everywhere and a box of dirty brushes. Did I mention the whole thing took about 30 minutes? In that time I've been able to hand wash all my brushes! There are a few things that are REALLY BAD about this item: 1. There are LOTS of sleeves, but they DO NOT FIT MOST brushes. The material used is too thick to be formed into a brush. I actually had to use pliers to get a brush off because the hole wasn't big enough and I had to force it in. 2. The "2 speeds" feature is USELESS and more of an annoyance than an improvement. If you have to stop for any reason, you'll have to overspeed to break free. He went through "Off". and "on" so fast that it took several button presses before it finally turned off. NOT ENOUGH POWER! The very first brush was spinning like it needed another charge!4. The BOWL solution is SMALL! If you have a large brush, there is very little room to lift it to dry! I returned the item immediately. This is a HUGE waste of money.
