My AGT1 was delivered promptly. I opened it up and found a device that looked like it was in use, a demo device or a return. There were signs of wear on the front panel. The power cord lay loose in a case with no cable ties. The probe had signs of use. I tried the device twice for a total of 8 calibrations and less than 20 tests. Now AGT1 indicates that the sensor needs to be replaced. The battery was not included. I have a 14k gold bracelet and 14k calibration disc which I ordered a week later. None of them are calibrated to 14K. Both show 18K if you follow the instructions and watch the YouTube demo. I need to save one because I'm buying gold next week. I should try to get a replacement probe in the next few days before I leave for my trip. Not only is this frustrating, but it also worries me that it may not provide me with accurate data on the gold I intend to buy. It seems like a good company, and it's entirely possible that someone simply decided to ship the product because they thought it was good enough. Well that wasn't good enough.
