Machine shop good. I added a drop of machine oil to the screw threads for smoother operation. I bought it just in case I needed a counterbalance as I didn't want to remove my phone case when installing on the Ziyun 4 slim gimbal. I didn't have to use it as recommended at this point, my phone case seems light enough that I can balance without it. The only problem I see with the Ziyun Smooth 4 is that you can't put the gimbal on standby with the eachshot counterweight mounted on the outside of the arm. This is how it is displayed in the info/sales screen. You can mount it on the inside of your arm and then use it on standby, but then you won't have space to add weights. On the plus side, when I added a lens hood to my iPhone 6s for outdoor shooting, the lens hood made my phone heavy on the front (screen side). I have found that I have enough space on my arm which also attaches the phone to place the counterweight clamp along with 3 weights on the same arm and not have any interference with the Ziyun Smooth 4 gimbal. Then I can get the perfect balance reach.
