We use it to filter our pool water and it does an amazing job!
Our pool had dead yellow algae too small for the sand filter to catch and siphon, wasting too much water, salt and chemicals. Photos before, during and after 24 hours with one (1) micron filter will not receive more than one (1). We could wash and reuse the bag. We don't use it often because it makes the water crystal clear. As it gets dirty, it decreases in micron size and then captures even smaller particles. That saves us time and money! The handles eventually snapped from the weight, but I just drilled holes in the top ring and used plastic wire ties to hold it in place.
