I've been racing/skating seriously for four decades and have tried hundreds of bottles. I don't think I've ever had a lid like this before. Of course it crashed straight up at high speed (pilot error) but I just thought it was an interesting failure mode. It looks like part of the cap (but thankfully not the nipple) is made of more brittle plastic and damn it's broken. That part aside, they're excellent value for money. The bottle body is strong, easy to open/close with your mouth on the go, compressed, almost what you need. They stay in my old school bottle cages. Odorless and tasteless. It also looks like a native American company. I will buy more.
