I love this item, I use it to carry my cat around for short periods while I integrate her into a new environment and I guarantee that she still feels safe around me. Of course, not every cat stays in such a place, but I think it's worth buying, peace comes with age. Also, I find carrier bags limited at the vet clinic and although I bring my cat in a carrier bag I can take her out for a while and these girls were able to pet the cat instead of sticking their fingers in a hole. Again, not every pet will like this, my previous cat used this when she was feeling fine. But when she was in her last month with cancer and I had to take her to the vet, to examine them i took them out of the crate and kept them in the vet's office every last minute of communication to reassure the cat time when they are about to leave, precious I feel worse having them in an emergency taking it to the vet because it wasn't as tense and cold as feeling in a cage.I've had every cat owner I know have one of them just for that moment.It takes it doesn't take up space nor does it catch hair, it seems clean without having to wash it which I did.
