I have had my "ROCKET SHARK" for about two years or more. Yes, the filters can be washed, but I vacuum every day, sometimes twice a day. Two of my grandchildren die every day. So I really needed an extra set of filters. The kit I received fits my SHARK very well. They arrived before the scheduled delivery date. They have no smell, I put them in the vacuum and still don't smell them. They are exactly the same ones that originally came in my vacuum when I bought it. I am very happy with my purchase.
