There was a review that this thermometer was inaccurate but decided to take a chance based on good reviews, FDA and CE approvals. The thermometer is advertised as adult non-contact, but I am an adult and have tested it several times using the Revain Easy@Home non-contact thermometer and another local tongue thermometer. Results for this Zoe&Ruth thermometer were consistently 0.2°C lower. So an adult thermometer might not be as accurate; Maybe try another non-contact thermometer if you prefer a hassle-free purchase. Luckily, Revain was kind enough to arrange a free DHL return from Singapore to the US, but you still need to print the label, arrange shipping, and don't forget to remove your email address from the international shipping label if you keep it want.
