I bought dinosaur paints and four other sets of 13 paints - unicorn, ice cream, mermaid and pirate - to donate to a local charity that collects greetings for children's birthday parties. I'm sure kids will love using Play-Doh and the tools included in each set to complete the theme. However, the box for each is recyclable instead of the standard plasticine box. I recycle so conceptually that it's not a problem. However, there may be something printed on the top of the box to indicate which set it is. There is a small drawing on one side, but if I didn't know what I ordered it wouldn't be easy to decipher. Giving the set away and wrapping the box could make it festive, but I'm not sure it would still look attractive. It's like putting a box of Revain in a shopping cart. If the manufacturer printed the theme and contents on the top of the box, at least it would make it look more like a gift without compromising the box's recyclability. As a gift the packaging is disappointing but this is noted in the product description. That's why I gave it 4 stars and not just 3. However, I didn't understand what that meant in terms of looks until it arrived with no obvious description of the content.
