Here's why I like these for camping:1. When they are folded down, they take up a LOT less space than a typical Tupperware type container2. They are bright yellow, so easy to find in the bottom of a gear box or chuck box3. The lids snap on very securely, so you don't have to worry about them coming loose while rolling around in a coolerHere's what I don't like:1. Because of the rigid "snap on" covers, they don't compress as fully as some with thinner lids2. They don't nest when collapsed - this would be a big improvement, but would require much different sizing3. The vent in the lid *can* pop loose if under pressure, and allow liquid contents to escape (or intrude).Those negatives are relatively minor, and these have found a permanent home in my camping gear box.
