Installation on the ceiling, as you can imagine, is not pleasant. I have a central ceiling joist which is perfect for the installation and with the long screws provided, fixing the unit to the ceiling is a tedious job - it's actually the easiest part. Installing the TV is the hardest part. It seems easy, but be careful. The supplied TV screws can be very long - do not overtighten the screws! It's okay if they meet. I overtightened two screws and it was a disaster. The problem is that there is only one logical way to mount the TV - balance the TV in the air and tighten the four mounting screws - do not disassemble the mount as this will not help you. The device works as intended.
