Headsets must stay on the head!

I'm a commercial pilot flying a large aircraft carrier. I bought this headset to replace my old Sennheisen headset which I have had for over 15 years. Sound quality, noise cancellation, bluetooth capabilities - everything was 5 stars. My main concern is the mechanical fit and functionality of this headset. The first and most important requirement for a headset is that it fits comfortably on the head. The headset is comfortable for the most part, but this device doesn't stay on your head. During turbulence, this became a serious problem. I can't let my headset fly off my head in a critical flight phase, which has happened to me several times. He did so for a variety of reasons from turbulence to my view of the cockpit performing various tasks. The problem stems from three issues I see in the design. to allow any movement to remove the head kit from the head. The second issue that makes up for the first is the ear cushions. Most DC headset earbuds are oval in shape, these are perfectly round. The round ear pad makes it easy to twist the ear piece on easily. This way when the headset moves the earcup has almost no friction to resist rotation and they act more like a fulcrum on the bearing and are free to move. The pad holds the bandage even higher on the head and is made of a material that slides through the hair, making the first two problems worse. So this is a beautiful headset that needs an overhaul of the entire headband and ear cushions to keep it from becoming loose. turn. Put simply, make a headset that stays on your head even when it fails. I would have stayed with Sennheisen, but they exited the pilot's headset market a few years ago. Perhaps DC could take a look at the discontinued Sennheisen headphones and learn from the very good design. As for me, you can find this headset for sale on eBay.
