Look this thing is $12 with shipping. You get what you pay for. It's really light and I'm pretty sure the legs are hollow. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this table. Despite the apparent lack of four independent legs with no support, the table is fairly stable. The legs also actually seemed to tighten up when properly aligned, which was actually downright overwhelming as I bought this as a cheap piece of crap sitting in the corner and I had virtually no expectations from it. I use one to store small items like a wireless router and some decorative books (reading them is actually for chumps). The other contains TV remote controls and a beer. If you're expecting to use it as a step stool or to hold a 97-pound speaker you stole from a Mötley Crüe concert in 1989, you'll be disappointed. But if all you want is TV remotes, soda, and a foot lamp on it, this $11 desk is fine.
