Glad I bought this for my Prius Prime which was specially designed by Toyota to make minor front end damage as expensive as possible. The outer bumper consists of several baroque LED blocks topped with the Toyota logo, which houses the front radar. This tread adds an inch of rubber to the structure as a line of defense against small bumps in parallel parking. Compared to other bumper pads, it has a low profile without noticing, others will not notice. My only criticism is that the plate is recessed too much (approx. 0.75β³), so that the rubber gets in the way when you look at the plate from an angle. I still think it's legal.
