I needed a faceplate where I could drill two holes for my power station rack which I use for my mobile rig for power cords etc. This worked perfectly and was easy to drill and cut for my needs. I used two black PVC fittings commonly used for water tanks to keep my stand looking nice and the trim hides the messy tangles of cables I used to keep outdoors to make my DJ console look neater and more elegant.
