Review on Enhanced BatteryMINDer 1510: Efficient 12V-1.5A Charger, Maintainer, Desulfator for Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, ATV, Boats, and RVs by Trevor Bannister

A good desulfinator/charger saves a lot of batteries that would go bad.

I have used many battery desulfurizers with mixed results. BatteryMINDer is the only product I truly believe in and trust. It won't work in all cases, but for me it has brought back many batteries from the dead or extended their lifespan far more than I could have imagined. What I've learned is that when the battery dies completely, you have to swap it out for another one, or at least charge it up a little, for the smart charger to work. Once it starts most of the time it will just do its magic. Sometimes it needs to be reset and exited again. One example I had was a neighbor's truck that I volunteered to drive. It sat in her driveway for over a year and the battery didn't hold a charge at all. I put BatteryMINDer on top and had to connect another battery with jumper cables, but I left it on for about three weeks. After that the truck started to write but there were some other problems but the battery overcharged it and without this charger I would have had to get a new battery as it wouldn't even light up the cab lights after the jumper cables were connected. connected for over an hour and then disconnected again. We also have some tractors with two large batteries and that has worked. You could start with the connecting cables, but if they were left overnight you'd have to jump again to start. After a week on this charger it will start itself for the rest of the season. Extending the life of your battery pack by a season or more is more than worth it for this great charger/desulfinator. I've found that the small amperage doesn't matter and how the larger chargers seem to work. A diesel truck or tractor often takes about an hour to run and when I feel the battery is low I turn it back on for a longer period of time. I feel like one of the keys to success is keeping it on the battery for a long time. A week is great but I seem to notice an improvement after that so most of the time I leave it on for a couple of weeks if I can or even just use it as an off-season support. I have six of these now, some old models but they all work great and I'll be rotating them with other devices over the winter.
