Review on πŸ‘  CLEECLI Women's Ballroom Dancing Black 2.5 Shoes: Perfect for Dancing and Athletic Activities by Kenny Outlaw

Comfortable dancing shoes!

Over the past few weeks I have bought and swapped several different styles/brands of dance shoes in search of the best fit and quality shoes for the price. These CLEECLI shoes are the winners! I ended up with a 2.5 inch heel in black and brown (which actually looks more like orange and gold). Pros: I liked how the strap tied under the arch of the foot. The ankle strap on these shoes is a little lower and doesn't pinch the ankle like some other shoes I've tried. The toe was a little more open so my toes didn't get pinched, but at the same time my feet didn't slide off the toe of the shoe. The shoes were of acceptable quality for a budget shoe, and the construction was fairly sturdy - the straps were the same length on the sides and the same height (unlike one brand that had the straps in different places and the height on the sides was the same). different for right and left shoes). As a bonus, most (but not all) CLEECLI shoes come with an additional rhinestone buckle that gives the shoe a glamorous look. Unfortunately, some of the pairs I tried were repackaged and lacked those extra manufacturer buckles. Cons: I also liked the 2 inch training heel option, but unfortunately the shoes I got in that height creaked in the sole. Shaft. I also had a creaking in the upper of another CLEECLI shoe so I had to order a replacement and that was fine. There was also some size discrepancy - some of the 8.5 shoes I ordered seemed wider in the toe box than others of the same size but a different color. Consequently, I had to be picky to find the one that fit best, so I deducted a star for the squeaky shins and sizing mismatch. I haven't danced in them yet so I'm not sure how long they will last. but of all the ones I tried, these seemed to offer the best quality and price. Update: After a few dances in them, I found that they had stretched a bit in the toe area and were now too loose. They also felt wobbly and unbalanced. Another pair of the same style that I bought in brown was worse - looking closely at this pair found that the heels were not very centered and attached at a slight angle inwards resulting in my ankles buckled and sometimes slipped out. under me These black shoes were a bit better in terms of heel position, but after slipping a few times, I don't feel safe dancing in these shoes anymore. I had to buy new shoes from a dance supply store and the clerk advised dancers to buy shoes smaller than they are used to for a more secure fit so their toes wouldn't slip off.

Pros
  • 2019 upgrade: thicker shoulder straps, many buckle holes. Style meets sophistication in this pair of women's cross strap dance shoes.
Cons
  • threadbare
