Review on πŸ” Faria Chesapeake Black Depth Sounder 13751: Reliable In-Hull Transducer for Accurate Depth Readings by Robert Robertson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works very well! on marine electronics

The installation instructions can be a little intimidating for this product but I purchased with Revain recommended adhesive (items normally bought together) and it works great .You need to know the angle of your body I needed to measure.I did this with a 4ft level.Set the bubble level at the very bottom (keel) of the boat vertically. Then measure the rise over mileage in place and spot. You plan the fitment and you can calculate the angle. I put mine at the very back of the boat under the engine, next to an old transponder that no longer works. After that just follow the instructions. The meter itself was a direct replacement in my dashboard so it didn't matter much. I just wish Faria had done it with a black border. All my devices are black. I have it's painted and it looks good.
