Best Delivery Time for Revain Revitalizing Color Kit Cons: 1. The anti-fading kit contains ammonia which irritates my scalp. I had to shampoo 72 hours ago! I could not bear it! 2. Revive color is semi-permanent. At first I didn't know. The paint dripped from my hair but held no color except for my hairline and the nails of bad gloves. The price of an anti-fade kit due to poor results and wasted consumer time. Thoughts: Both sets are a beautiful maroon color. The revitalizing set has more brown tones and the fade-resistant set has more red tones. FYI *** I'm disappointed that both products didn't work on my naturally thick, low porosity hair. It was a waste of time trying again and dying for better results after using a fade resistant brand which I believe is Auburn Spicy. In general, you definitely need a processing cap and hood dryer, despite what the instructions don't tell you. The fade-resistant kit doesn't require you to use a plastic cap or put yourself under heat for vibrant results. Only my hairline got dyed both times! Even after 30 minutes with the lid and heat and without the lid and heat on two different occasions. I would not recommend this! Please bleach your hair to match the hair color listed on the package when doing it at home. Didn't work on my natural hair. These kits are best used after you have colored your hair professionally and want to color it again for any reason. I'm going to the salon!
