Rots/brittles very quickly in direct sunlight

I used these clips to attach a Cat7 cable from my garage to my house to a switch/router in my basement. I used about 25 of these to run the cable to both the house and garage. IT WAS ONLY TWO WEEKS AND NOW THE PLASTIC IS SPILLING. Upon closer inspection, one realizes that the plastic is very fragile and will literally break if touched. It must be sunlight. Staples that fall apart/break spontaneously are most exposed to direct sunlight. NOT SATISFIED AT ALL WITH THIS PRODUCT! Now I don't trust ANY of the plastic clips and need to look/find a metal clip or at least some material guaranteed to withstand the sunlight.

Pros

Additional ribs "lock" the clamp in place, allowing it to automatically adjust to different cable and wire sizes. Provides a nearly 360 degree grip so the cord doesn't slip back and forth on most sizes.
