The picture from this camera was very clear, but the video stream regularly flickered or looped. My image just flickered when I called up zoom. When I turned off the camera and used the built-in camera for my laptop, I didn't have this problem. The light isn't bright enough to make a difference either. Hooked up to a laptop close to my face, you couldn't tell the difference between the lights on and off. This can only matter if you are in a completely dark room with no other light.
