Different type of building blocks
My 4 year old built a little roller coaster as soon as she opened the box and cried when her little sister came and started taking it apart to play with it too. It took her a bit of trial and error to figure out how some of the pieces had to fit together, but once she got it done, it was easy. I found it fun to watch her figure it out and it's totally intuitive as they create blocks that are different from the types of blocks she's used to.
