I was so happy to see the pumice stone on a stick. I wanted to use it for the bottom of a toilet that had accumulated hard water. I'm used to using a different brand of stone so this one was a little different. While the yellowish-brown stone helps scrub away hard minerals, when it dissolves in water, the water becomes cloudy so you can't see what you're trying to erase. It doesn't work as quickly or easily compared to the gray stone I usually use on top of the bowl. I'll try shutting off the water supply and cleaning there without water, but for now I prefer the brand I use for the top of the bowl because it seems more effective.
