Pack of 3 KIDPIK girls seamless cycling shorts We ordered these for our daughter to wear under skirts and dresses since she is a very active child. who won't stop playing just because she's not wearing her pants. We deliberately ordered them large, because tight cycling shorts aren't fun for anyone. She is 7 years old, 4ft 4in and weighs 74lbs and went up a size due to the extra room (it would not have been noticeable under the dress and would have given her full freedom of movement). We expected 10-16. Her size should be quite loose but it isn't - the waistband and top to hip area fit her, they are not tight at all but it's hard to imagine that in 3 years she won't be adjusting to her mention 9. The shorts are VERY long considering the relatively small waist. They come down to her mid-knees, which looks odd—too short for capris, too long for shorts. If we were a comparable size (in which case we would just downsize and keep) but the overall fit just doesn't fit or work for her I can't imagine downsizing would help as it would probably be too tight/uncomfortable then don't work for us.
