Ordered in 2019 and not used immediately. When the copies began to smear and no cleaning helped, I took the printer to a repair shop. I've been told that cartridges almost never leak; but this one did. I love the printer and that's my only complaint, but it costs a little over $40 as I used about half of the toner before the problem started. I've tried calling Brother on the number they gave me but I don't have time to wait.
