Great, but you need a wrist rest

The only real problem with this keyboard is that you absolutely need a wrist rest. But even at the price of this board + wrist rest, this keyboard is a good option. For backlit mechanical switches and a small footprint, this is a great entry-level option for performance and ergonomics (or gaming if you have optics). The included buttons feel good with enough travel, and the switches are pretty stable. Some people report different feel switches, so always check quality control on your specific device. Connectivity should be good for whatever device you plan to use with it in 2021 (assuming you're willing to shell out $70-$90 for a remote mechanical keyboard). The replacement Mac and Windows keys that come with it take into account the different devices you might be using. The location is good, the range of functions is only the part that takes getting used to. That being said, it's easy to accidentally hit the lighting pattern button when trying to click delete, but that's another thing to get used to. Even the arrow keys are well spaced given the compact size. For gaming, a slightly larger size with a full number pad makes a lot more sense, but the experience of actually using the board doesn't make up for that. The board is mainly characterized by structure, feel and user-friendliness.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotion
Cons
  • Clarity
