takes some getting used to. They don't do the work for you. The best way to use them is to start the hem first by folding the fabric twice and sewing about half an inch, then inserting the fabric into the curved section. After that, I decided to fold the fabric down about 7 inches, which is how I want it. And just keep the fabric folded to keep the desired hemline. They don't really make hemming easy for me. I already do very good seams. I just saw someone use them and thought it would speed up the hem. They're not adjustable either, but maybe by a few millimeters. thought it was funny.
