Review on Stampers Holtz Rubber 8 5 Inch Things by Karla Richter

Perfect Detail

These stamps are tiny but very detailed. I print them on special stamp paper with archival ink and use emergency markers or a craft pen to apply the ink from the emergency stamp pads to my paper to fill it with color. It looks great if you use a clear embossing pen and after the ink has dried, apply clear embossing powder over it. They can be subtle, or you can make them a focal point using a smaller surface area. One method I have used in the past was to use leaf stamps/stencils and hang the birdcage stamp on the stems and position the birds randomly. Another fun technique I've used is masking. For example, take a mug stamp, stamp it, put a mask on it (stamp it, cut it out and put it on top of your stamped image so this mask will prevent the stamps from overlapping when you use it with others stamps stamp each other). ) and pressure clocks with wings (LaBlanche). They're also great for printing with Distress Ink, which captures the details!

Pros
  • These red rubber stamps on sticky foam can be used with any acrylic block (sold separately)
Cons
  • So far so good
