Those are three things he does well in all. This is a tripod, a selfie stick and a camera remote control. It also folds quite compactly and is very light so you can take it on a hike or bike ride without being bulky. I have an iPhone 8 and it pairs and takes great photos. I had no problems. You basically just have to press and hold the button and it will connect.
