Nearly perfect! good for skewers
The design is a bit shaky. The mother is on the wrong side of the plate. If you want to set it up so that the juice you pour over the meat spills onto the plate, you'll need to put it on some sort of stand. So it doesn't stay straight. If the nut was welded to the other side, it would sit flat either way. However, the skewer is excellent and the stainless steel construction is durable. As they say, almost perfect. I give 5 stars, really 4.5.
