That's very nice. But they are also the most functional coasters I have ever come across. One of the purposes of the stand is to keep water out of the bottom table. Most coasters can do that, but an equally important function is to wick moisture away from the glasses so they don't end up in a dripping puddle of their own condensation. This is the part that separates good coasters from their poorly designed waterproof counterparts. These pallet coasters are made out of wood and have lots of little nooks and crannies that absorb water. At the same time, they have many gaps that promote air circulation and rapid evaporation. You will never be left with wet little coasters - they will magically make the water disappear.
