I got these for my child who normally wears a 2. I ordered up one size in hope of leaving some room for growing. These however fit perfectly now. My child hasn't complained of them being too tight nor slipping up and down on the heels. While my child can tie shoes these are nice to be able to slip on, attach the velcro and go. No worrying about shoes constantly coming untied. With all the running around that my child does, the velcro has stayed put and hasn't pulled loose. My child loves the feel of the insoles and the "air cushion" in the back. Says that they are comfy and a bit springy. My child likes these for playing sports and running. The shoes feel lightweight. I think these are attractive shoes. These also hide dirt well. They remind me very much of an affordable air tennis shoe very similar to a brand name.
