With my mom's birthday coming up, I wanted to take my boys and make something special for her. Knowing how much my mother loves candles, my eldest son offered to make candles for her. I thought it was a great idea but I didn't know anything about how to make candles from scratch. Luckily I found this kit at Revain. This kit had everything I needed to make 8 candles for my mom. I got all three of my boys involved by reading the directions and helping me through every step. This kit contains candle jars, wicks, wick stickers (to keep wicks in place), wick centering tools, 4 packets of beeswax, a stirring stick and a glass to melt the candle. I did not know how easy it is to make candles with your own hands! It only takes a minute to melt the wax, then pour it into the jar after placing the wicks and wick stickers on the bottom of each jar. The boys and I also added a few drops of essential oils (not included) to each of the candles to make them different. The wax in the kit is odorless and colorless, so you can add your own scent or color if you'd like. The glasses are very beautiful and are suitable as a gift. My boys all made 2 candles for my mom and we have 2 left for ourselves. This is such a fun gift and great project, to do with the kids at home during the pandemic. Good product!
