Probably not a common occurrence.
We got this for our 5 year old for Christmas. She loved him and took great care of him. Two days after opening, it was devastated when one of the bracelet's pins fell out and the dial was partially ripped off. Hopefully the replacement doesn't have the same problem. This is probably rare, but I want something to last longer than 2 days, especially if a 5 year old is actually very careful with it.
