I was so excited to give this to my newborn as it reminded me of my growing baby blanket. Was incredibly dismayed to see the seams fall apart and the fibers of the duvet were pulled out of this duvet with very little effort. It is very dangerous to give to a child. Definitely not worth the money and tears when that cheap duvet falls apart in a jiffy. I can GUARANTEE that the original blanket alone will not stand the test of time, even after the binding has come undone. It's better to spend some extra money on Etsy to buy a handmade baby blanket. At least you know that if an accident occurs along the way, the seller can repair the item. Avoid this duvet if you want the duvet to last more than one wash.
