Quick overview: Great set of accessories, too many brush heads but two accessories are so good they transform the Dyson into a whole new, much more useful vacuum cleaner. Full review of each attachment: I bought these when I bought my Dyson V7 about 8 months ago. I use them every time I vacuum something that isn't a large open area. The shortest part with a small oval shape has very soft bristles attached to reduce suction but ideal for lifting layers of pet hair/fur (or long women's hair).2. The longest part with a brush at the end, with the same orientation as the smallest part, actually has a brush that can slide up and down the nozzle. This means it can vacuum better when the brush is in the down position, or it can be more of a tool for sweeping counters that have solids such as flour, sugar, coffee grounds, sawdust, or just plain dust on them. 3 . The last tool with the brush head, the one with the angled head is a little overkill as the bristles aren't as stiff as the small one so it's not as good at brushing strokes and lifting hair, but the bristles are spaced apart. The suction power is therefore not as good as with the adjustable brush head part. I really never use this.4. The widest tool is good for cleaning sofas, upholstered chairs, bedspreads and even sheets, almost any surface covered with fabric, relatively flat and large. Finally, two of my favorite instruments. Let's start with a crevice tool, long and narrow. This is important for cleaning the car, getting into small spaces and extracting all the dirt that gets pushed into the nooks and crannies of furniture and under car seats. Also great for getting to the very edge of a room, under cupboards and other places where larger fixtures would simply be missing. Because it has such a small surface area, it has the strongest suction of any nozzle.6. A flexible hose is best. This is the most versatile attachment as all previous ones would not be able to reach all the places they can if attached to a strong hose or directly to a relatively bulky motor head. Honestly I can't believe Dyson cordless vacuums don't have this thing in the box, it makes the product so much more functional I wouldn't buy a cordless vacuum without a flexible hose nozzle.
