Not for the faint of heart

This is the latest installment in the Armored Cored series. This game follows in the footsteps of Armored Core 4 and Armored Core: For Answer, significantly improving the game engine and core mechanics. However, this game pretty much assumes you've played previous Armored Core games. The in-game tutorial is short and doesn't prepare you for some of the more difficult missions, let alone PvP combat. The best parts of the game should be learned through experience, from other players, or through FAQs, walkthroughs, and the like. For those who haven't played the previous Armored Cored games, please read this section: This is a fast paced mech game. where you have a variety of weapons at your disposal to destroy a variety of enemies. They have everything: pistols, rifles, Gatling guns, different types of energy weapons, as well as the famous blades and laser blades. Your enemies will be everything from helicopters to other armored cores. The story and contract missions take you through the main story and side missions, but the main attraction is playing against other players. A new feature of these games is the ability to form a team. Your team gets points for completed missions and battles, which unlock new details. Your team can also claim territories in any of the game's eight territories. This feature allows you to have allies that greatly increase your chances when you face off against other players online. Finally, you can also register as a mercenary, which allows you to participate in a story mission or another player's Order mission. It helps lighten things up a bit. All in all, you have a challenging game that is sure to keep you honing Armored Core for days, weeks, and months. If you're looking for a game that gives you plenty of replay time, then this is for you. Enjoy!
