These are comfortable enough, but the fit is a little odd in the back to me. I typically wear an 8.5 W, but with these not being in wide sizes I went ahead with a 9. I’m okay with the length, but the soles are so thick this makes my foot sit higher past the top of the shoe. It causes the sensation that my feet are going to slip out of the shoe, which I don’t really care for. I just wish the body of the shoe was a little bit taller. Also, as thick as the sole is, you’d think it would be super soft but it’s not. I know not to expect much in this price range, but yeah. They wouldn't be as comfortable to me personally for long periods of walking. Some like a hard shoe though, so I guess it just depends on personal preference. I just wanted some inexpensive, lightweight shoes to walk the treadmill with. I’m not crazy about the fit, but the good thing is that these are laced so I can tighten them a good bit. Pay attention to that, by the way. They appear to be slip on, but they’re not!As far as whether I recommend them, it’s all about personal preference and needs when it comes to a gym shoe. Comfort is VERY subjective. All I can tell you is that these seem to be made well and cost less than half of what you’ll pay for any brand name shoes, so they’re worth giving a try if you’re in the market for a lightweight shoe.
