Review on 🍹 Oster Blender 6-Cup Glass Jar: Black and Clear Lid for Superior Blending by Jay Swearengin

I unpacked the blender jar and installed the lid: Place the clear filter cap into the lid and twist the lid to lock it in place. One of the two tabs securing the cap in the lid broke off immediately. Wow! My original 15 year old lid and lid is still in perfect condition, only the lid is too small for this wider (but shorter) blender jar. Very disappointed. Also, buyers looking for a replacement should be aware of the following two things: 1. If you are buying this as a replacement for the original pitcher that came with the classic chrome single knob (no knobs) mixer, this pitcher is too wide. to keep it upside down safely when storing it in your closet. It slides easily over the base of the blender but is too wobbly. No problem, just a note. 2. The original cover is made of heavy, flexible, rubbery plastic, but this one is made of thin and hard plastic. It seals well but feels cheap. It's a little silly to give such a detailed review of a blender, but it's one of the most used appliances in our kitchen. This one works, I just wish I had more time to find an exact replacement for the broken one.
