I bought this because I found it to be more durable than any plain top/bottom shells. It's sturdier with the added reinforcements, but it's also a fairly chunky design that doesn't quite match the elegance of the Macbook Air. Worse, the bottom really doesn't match the 2020 Macbook Air A2179. From the looks of it, the 2020 model is a bit thicker, and that's the difference: the bottom doesn't quite fit. Also, plastic clips can't accommodate more than a few insertions/removals. So I won't be using it and will instead use a plain plastic case and maybe a handy pouch in case I travel with it.
