Review on 📏 Starrett Machinist Level, 98-6: High-Precision 6-Inch Leveling Tool with Cast Iron Base, Glass Bubble Vial, 0.42 mm/m Graduation and Sensitivity by Tropingzz Cece

I am somewhat torn between this level and the one made/sold by Accusize . I have used Accusize products before and have been very happy with their quality and price. Accusize was a slightly different style but would probably work fine for my use case. Ultimately, I chose Starrett based solely on the fact that it's made in America and its quality is undeniable. Immediately after purchase I had to make some adjustments to set it up perfectly. My guess is if I had spent a lot of money on a "certified" model this wouldn't have been necessary. It took a bit to set up just because this tool is so accurate. A small adjustment results in a large bubble movement. It's not bad, but it just takes time to perfect. I'm a little thinner thread might make things easier. Besides customization, this is another amazing quality item. If you need precise alignment, this is a great tool. One star off just for the setting. The need for adjustment isn't an issue, but I find that the extra fine threads on the adjustment nut would make things a bit easier.
