Review on πŸ”΄ Torin Big Red T43004 3-Ton Aluminum Jack Stands: Reviews, Features, and Pricing by Lance Harrison

Lightweight and easy to store

I purchased these aluminum jacks solely to change tires on my 2019 Honda Ridgeline pickup which weighs 4550 pounds. They arrived safe and were easy to assemble. . I liked that their height is securely fixed with a large pin. Once my Ridgeline pickup was on all four jacks, it felt and stayed stable, and I was able to turn all four wheels with ease. As you can see from the photo, I had to use two pieces of wood under each of the jacks to ensure I could raise the pickup high enough to spin the wheels (or replace a flat tire if needed). These jacks were set just one hole below their maximum height. So next time I use them I'll be sure to put three pieces of wood under each jack so I don't have to extend the jack almost to its maximum height. Please note that each piece of wood is 2" x 6" pine. Of course, like many other reviewers here, I agree that the chain attaching the pin to the socket itself is ridiculously short - barely long enough to work properly. In closing I would like to say that these jacks appear to be made of quality materials and look very nice (if I may say so about the stand). They work well, but since their base is quite small, they certainly don't inspire confidence, although as I said, they worked well in my case.
