This product is by far the worst lock I have ever used. I have experience with Schlage and August both of which are much better. As other reviewers point out, the lock is extremely sensitive to its position on the door and the tightening of the screws that hold it in place. He also doesn't seem to know when he's working and when he's not. 60% of the time we get the message "can't lock the bolt" and about half of those times the bolt is actually stuck. I've reinstalled it 3 times and I'm still getting the same issues. It doesn't take pressure to open the door from the inside every time, so it's not a latch dragging across the lid. Even when it's running, the time it takes for the screen to wake up and process the code and unlock it is extremely long. Opening the door takes 30-45 seconds. This is totally unacceptable for security reasons. Zero stars is more appropriate.
